County Board meetings are held at the County Courthouse on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a public meeting of the Washington County Board of Supervisors and the Washington County Board of Equalization will be held on Tuesday October 13, 2026, at the Washington County Courthouse in Blair, Nebraska. The Board of Supervisors meeting will begin at 3:00 P.M., with the Board of Equalization meeting being the first agenda item at 3:00 P.M. A current agenda for the meeting is available for public inspection at the office of the County Clerk. The agenda may be modified at such meetings only to include items of an emergency nature. Anyone requiring special accommodations or assistance because of visual or hearing impairment should contact the County Clerk not less than 5 days prior to the meeting.

Board of Equalization
County Planning Commission
Washington County is looking for individuals who are interested in serving on the Washington County Planning Commission. Applicants must reside within Washington County.
The Planning Commission generally meets in the evening on the first Thursday of each month. Members serve as volunteers who receive no salary but are reimbursed for mileage and conference expenses.
Planning Commission applicants are voted on by the Washington County Board of Supervisors to serve for a three-year term.
Individuals shall submit a letter of interest and\or resume by 4:30 p.m., Friday, November 13, 2026, to the Washington County Planning Department, 1555 Colfax Street, Blair, NE. 68008 or by email to planning@washingtoncountyne.gov
Planning Commission meetings are held at the County Courthouse on the first Thursday of each month, unless notice given otherwise. The meeting begins at 7:00PM.

Notice is hereby given that the regular public hearing before the Washington County Planning Commission on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. will not be held.
